What got you into comics? Not sure, I just recall an obsession for filling my notebooks with made up sequentials by the time I was in high school… then starting going to conventions, meeting real artists and learning all I could until I got picked up.

How did you learn your skill/trade? Mainly observation. I’ve been lucky at meeting really great artists who have been very open to sharing their knowledge and always supportive to offer honest critiques.

What tools/equipment do you use? 2h mech-pencil and an electric eraser… though I’m not married to any particular tool.

What was your favorite comic as a kid? Spiderman, X-men

Who is your greatest comic influence? Andrew Loomis, Marc Silvestri, Joe Benitez, Tim Bradstreet, Travis Charest, Richard Bennet. I got a lot out of different people over the years.

What advice would you give someone just starting out in comics? Think about it. If you haven’t drawn anything while thinking about it then this isn’t for you.
